The blue boxes above provide access to data.

• "Cemeteries" - provide information about the cemeteries themselves, such as the name, registration number, location and access information. It also includes the number of gravestones, most recent and earliest dates of death, a photograph, GPS readings, Google map, burial ground sketch map, and complete list of known interred, plus much more.
• "Interred" - focuses on information about individuals. It includes, when known, the name, birth and death dates, age, gender, veteran status, name of cemetery, relatives, and detailed information about the stones, inscriptions and genealogical information.
• "Background" - explains the project and the people who made it happen.
• "Information" - provides definitions of some terms and warnings about entry into the various cemeteries.

This website is administered by the Cemetery Identification Group (CIG) under the auspices of the Westport Historical Commission and the Westport Cemetery Department and is linked to these departments on the Town of Westport website.

The website will be updated as new information becomes available. Please note that this database does not include public cemeteries in Westport, namely, Beech Grove, Linden Grove and Maple Grove cemeteries.
