Other InformationGravestone & pedestal are broken. James' father was a doctor also. James was an officer in the US Navy & nearly 74 years old when appointed medicial officer in 1864. He served aboard a ship for about 1 1/2 years. James lived at the corner of Hix Bridge Road and Drift Road with his wife Hope & other family members.
