Other InformationCornelius T. Allen was a prosperous blacksmith in the shop next to his house at 1813 Main Road. He was a hospital nurse during the war for one year from September 1862 to September 1863 at the U.S. General Hospital in Portsmouth Grove, RI. He had three children: Ferdinand, Asa B. and Georgiana.
